Alasdair is a Cinematographer from the northwest Highlands of Scotland. He holds a BA (hons) and an MA in Communication Design from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design.
With over a decade of experience as a Camera Assistant on major feature films, commercials, and music videos, Alasdair learned from some of the most respected cinematographers in the industry.
Taking inspiration from the approach of these DP’s Alasdair began shooting his own work while still assisting. Over the years he has developed an aesthetic which celebrates the inherent and subtle beauty of natural realism. Alasdair is particularly interested in producing authentic, emotionally driven narrative work that explores impactful socially conscious subject matter.
